BRUNSWICK HVAC RESCUE / AC NOT COOLING

AC running.
Still not cool?

When the house stays warm, start with what you can observe. You don’t need to identify a failed part to request AC help in Brunswick County.

START WITH THE SYMPTOMS

What is your AC doing?

A useful request describes what changed. “The vents have air, but the temperature has been rising since this morning” gives more context than “the AC is broken.” Choose the closest description below and include it in your request.

Air is moving, but the house is warm
Note the room temperature and the temperature you selected. Say whether every room is affected or only part of the home.
Little or no air comes from the vents
Tell us whether you hear the indoor system running. Describe what you can observe without removing equipment panels.
The system won’t start
Let us know whether the thermostat display is on, when the system last worked, and whether the issue followed a power outage.
The problem comes and goes
Include when it happens, how long it lasts, and whether it affects cooling throughout the day or only at certain times.

A SIMPLE CHECK

Read the thermostat first.

Check that the thermostat is in cooling mode and that the target temperature is below the room temperature. A fan set to “On” can move air even when the AC is not actively cooling, so airflow by itself does not confirm that cooling is working.

Follow your system’s operating instructions. If the settings look right and the house is still not cooling, request service. A symptom description helps start the conversation; it does not establish the cause or repair cost.

MAKE THE REQUEST USEFUL

What to tell us.

  • Your town and the address where the system needs attention.
  • Whether there is warm air, weak airflow, or no operation.
  • The thermostat’s displayed temperature and selected setting, if available.
  • When the problem started and whether one area or the entire home is affected.
  • Your preferred timing and the best phone number for a follow-up.

If you already noticed ice, water, unusual noise, or an error message, include that too. Don’t open equipment, touch wiring, or handle refrigerant to gather details.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

A few things
to know.

Can you tell me the repair price from these symptoms?+

Symptoms alone are not enough to price a repair. Call to discuss the request, and confirm any diagnostic or visit charge before booking. Pricing is discussed by phone.

Should I choose “No cooling” or “System down”?+

Choose “No cooling” when the main issue is a warm home or warm air. “System down” is also available if the equipment is not operating at all. Use the details field to explain what you see.

Does sending a request reserve a visit today?+

No. Choose “As soon as possible” if timing matters. That marks your request as high priority, but availability and an appointment still need to be confirmed.
